We're very proud of our new facility.  Here's a brief tour.

From the parking lot: Located in the upscale University Village Office Park, and highly visible across the Gerald Ford entry from Carl's Junior, we have ample front-door parking to make your visit as easy as possible.  Or, if you don't mind walking a few yards, there is covered parking nearby as well!

Waiting Room/Reception

From the moment you walk in the door, you know we care.  Our friendly staff will make you welcome, and we'll do everything we can to minimize your waiting time.

We even have a separate "Kitty Corner" for cats and their owners who would prefer to remain out of the way of any dogs who may share their appointment time.

Examination

Each of our five exam rooms is unique, but they all have certain features in common.  Each is spacious and offers comfortable client seating, as well as a computer station with a large monitor for viewing digital x-rays and other diagnostic images.  Shown here is "Sierra," with its hydraulic exam table which can easily lift a large dog, but folds out of the way when not needed.  Because no one likes a cold slippery surface, each exam table is fitted with a cushy non-skid mat.  Three of our exams have large windows for natural light.  Each has a frosted-glass door that combines privacy with a sense of openness.

Laboratory

When time is of the essence, we can run urgent lab tests in house.  For more routine cases, we work with Antech Veterinary Lab to offer a complete line of diagnostics with a rapid turn around.

The Operating Room

Here's where sterile procedures take place, in a protected environment with "positive pressure air flow" - this keeps the air that might contain germs from flowing in.  Everything from puppy spays (shown here) to major orthopedic surgery is done in this room.

Treatment Area
This is where most of the "behind the scenes" action takes place.  Shown here is our "wet" lift table, able to handle a 300-pound dog or a 1-pound kitten.  The space also holds two other treatment stations as well as a rolling gurney so we are ready for just about anything!

Dental Stations: Most dental work is done on our lift table.  We also have a mobile dental station which can be moved into place, enabling us to have two dental procedures going simultaneously.  This also acts as a back up in the rare situation where a technical malfunction should sideline one of our units.
