California Veterinary Specialists offers 24-hour specialty services in Murrieta and two other locations.  This is currently the closest 24-hour specialty practice to the Coachella Valley.

Eye Care For Animals provides ophthalmology services for pets in Palm Desert, Upland, and a number of other locations throughout southern California.

Animal Dermatology Clinic offers treatment for those super-challenging skin cases, by appointment in Palm Desert and other So Cal locations.

Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin is one of the best of its kind in the country!

Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging: While it's not exactly routine for us to order up an MRI on a patient... for these folks, it is!  They also handle our feline hyperthyroid referrals and other imaging challenges.

 Living Free Animal Sanctuary in Idyllwild is a bit of a drive, but many locals consider it well worth the trip when seeking the perfect pet companion.

Each of the adoption centers listed above has a licensed charitable arm.  The following are some other great causes devoted to protecting animals or employing animals to helpt humans.  * denotes volunteer opportunities.

*Loving All Animals - Lindi Biggi's brain child, this charity pledges to facilitate rescue, organize seemingly impossible projects, and every dollar raised goes directly to support local animal charities where the need is greatest.  Dr. Roberts serves as veterinary advisor.

*Paws And Hearts provides canine ambassadors that visit hospitals, convalescent homes, and other facilities.  Volunteer opportunities!

*Coachella Valley Wild Bird Center - Licensed wildlife rehab center.  This is the place for the fallen fledgling!
